Sheila Dickerson, MBA, SHRM-SCP
Sheila Dickerson serves as Chief People Officer where she leads the vision and execution of enterprise-wide people strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, equity, and growth. She is responsible for shaping and aligning talent strategy across human resources, workforce development, organizational culture, and performance.
Her portfolio includes strategic oversight of talent acquisition, workforce planning, leadership and employee development, total rewards, HR technology and operations, employee engagement, and enterprise-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Sheila also leads cross-functional efforts that integrate people analytics, change management, and leadership capability building to support LPHI’s mission and evolving public health landscape.
With more than a decade of experience as a transformative HR leader, Sheila holds an MBA from the University of New Orleans, is a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE), and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Her leadership is marked by her ability to build high-performing teams, design innovative workforce development strategies, and drive systemic improvements in recruitment, retention, and equitable compensation frameworks.
Known for her collaborative leadership and results orientation, Sheila is passionate about creating inclusive, thriving workplaces where people and purpose align. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
