Recent Grant Making
Since its establishment, the Louisiana Community AIDS Partnership (LCAP) has worked closely with the National AIDS Fund to invest in HIV/AIDS programming in Louisiana. In 2006 and 2007, the National AIDS Fund invested close to $1 million in support for agencies affected by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In 2008, LCAP was given the opportunity to fund 4 organizations in addition to 3 other organizations funded through the National AIDS Funds Southern REACH Program. In 2009, LCAP awarded grants to 7 organizations across the state. For 2010-2011, The Partnership has awarded 6 grants totaling over $115,00 with Challenge Grant funding.
