Hurricane Katrina devastated all 5 SBHCs that were providing much valued services in Orleans Parish. In the past 5 years, SHC and its partners have worked to maintain, relocate, or establish 13 SBHCs and 4 school-linked community clinics in the Greater New Orleans area. In addition, we are planning for addtional SBHCs in the Greater New Orleans Area.
